There are a few components to the course and program. The first is the skills assessment part. This is where the student will participate in many activities. The skill testing component will involve a full day worth of testing. The teacher will observe the student to ensure that the various situations are handled correctly. There should be no doubt when it comes to getting testing. Students have to demonstrate that they know the material.
The last part of the exam is the written part. This is exam is long and will feature many questions. These questions could be long answer based with some short answer questions. The purpose of the test is to assess the student and find out how much they have learned. Just because a student can do something doesn't mean they know why they are doing it or what the purpose is. The written test can ensure that the students know exactly what they are doing.
Red Cross CNA Training Classes are aimed at anyone who needs to be certified. Medical fields need this type of certification to stay current with their job requirements. The training can be found in many local areas and may run a few times a year. Prices will vary depending on the length of course and instruction taught.
