Anyone that has attended nursing school knows that it is a challenge. Nursing encompasses so many areas of patient care. A nursing graduate needs to be ready with the knowledge to handle any situation they encounter. For this reason, the courses from

Here are some tips to make it through to your shining new career. Tip #1: Stay focused. With other pressures it is easy to get off track. Getting distracted could be the difference between success and defeat in nursing school. Remember the reasons that you decided to pursue a career in nursing. Let these things keep your nose to the grindstone even when the work piles up and you draw a blank on a test. There will be trying times to be sure, but they can be overcome.
Sadly, government has had a tendency to reduce reimbursement payments, not increase them, and do not seem to be interested in covering the actual cost of providing services. Because people liked me, I often got asked to speak at organization and governmental meetings, along with some churches and religious gatherings. Humorously, I was even asked a few times to speak to groups at a birthday parties in Indonesia. This was a bit awkward at first, until I realized how earnest and desirous everybody was to hear me. Most of all, I would say I enjoy speaking to college students because they are in a place in their life where they truly desire personal growth. Their hearts and minds are open to valuable input, powerful impartation, and personal transformation.
There is not, and never has been, any requirement that doctors treat patients insured by Medicare or Medicaid. Therefore, people with Medicare or Medicaid are increasingly turning to federally funded clinics, or even to emergency rooms that cannot, by law, turn them away. Sadly, using emergency rooms for non-emergency health care is unbelievably expensive, making the lower reimbursement Medicare/Medicaid rates not financially wise in the long run.
Never in a million years did I anticipate being a worldwide professional speaker, but by reason of my travels to over 50 countries and 6 continents, I frequently was invited to speak at various academic institutions, colleges, and universities. Initially, I was overseas serving in a humanitarian capacity, primarily working in war-torn and third world nations.
